Pretty as a picture!

Sorry it's been so long since I've updated the blog. Believe me it's not because nothing has changed with Sydney. She is just the most precious little girl. It's hard to believe that out of all the children in the world, we have the best one! :)

Let me see. She's now walking, so that is her favorite thing to do. She loves crawling up and down the stairs too. She's also trying so hard to talk to us. She babbles all the time, and says "hi" and "baby", and can sign language "please" and "thank you". She's still taking two naps a day, but is working her way to just an afternoon nap. This varies day to day... sometimes she really still wants her morning nap and other days she's fine without it. I, of course, am still in the phase where I like her morning naps (wink wink!).

She now has a mouthful of teeth. When she was 9 months old she had 8 teeth... 4 on the top and 4 on the bottom. She's been teething the last couple of months, and has now doubled the number of teeth... she has 16 teeth now. What a tropper she was. It seemed like all her teeth started coming in at the same time. She never got fussy or cried about them. She did have a fever that came and went, but that was it.

Sydney is a great eater. She will eat just about anything, and with all those teeth, she does! Her current favorite food is... tomatoes!! She loves cooked broccoli, all different kinds of meats, and as many different vegetables as possible. She does still like her baby food, and sometimes prefers that to table food. That could be because her gums are sore, so it will be interesting to see how long she's like this.
