We're going to China!!!

We found out today that we're going to China on Thursday, March 9th, and Sydney will join our family on Monday, March 13th. WOO HOO!! We'll be flying into Hong Kong on Friday (with the time difference and 16 hour flight, we'll leave here on Thursday and arrive on Friday), staying in Hong Kong until Sunday, and then going to Guangzhou where we'll stay until March 22nd. On March 22nd we'll leave Guangzhou, go back to Hong Kong, and fly out the next day. Here's the itinerary:

Sunday
March 12 - arrive in Guangzhou

Monday
March 13 - morning - receive your child at the Civil Affairs Office
Begin adoption paperwork

Friday
March 17 - receive adoption paperwork and Chinese passport
Enjoy weekend relaxing with your family.

Monday
March 20 – morning - medical exam and visa photo

Tuesday
March 21 – Consulate appointment

Wednesday
March 22 – receive U.S. visa
4pm swearing-in ceremony

Thursday
March 23- arrive in U. S.

It's hard to believe that we leave in 2 weeks!! And in 17 day's, Sydney will have a mom and dad!! Wow...it's all I can say at this point. I've been feverishly working on flights and hotels today, in between getting my root canal done. What a day! I'm exhausted, but thrilled at the same time.
